Our Mission
Our mission in providing services to children with disabilities is to ensure that the quality of the service meets each individual family's needs in their natural environment.
Information
Ahead Start is a private, locally owned and operated early intervention provider. The employees of Ahead Start bring over 30 years of combined experience working with children birth to five who have special needs. In addition, our agency staff includes mothers and relatives of children who have personally experienced the process of early intervention. We know that our passion, experience, and dedication will ensure that your family will receive the quality of service you are looking for in an early intervention provider.

Ahead Start offers the following services in order to help your child reach their full potential:
Process to begin early intervention services
Family Training is provided in various settings including the child's residential home, day care center, and other child care facilities. Services are typically provided during our normal business hours of 9-5, but alternate appointment times are available at the Early Interventionist's discretion. After a child is referred to Ahead Start, the family will be contacted within a week by an Early Interventionist.
